The coop promotes the development of projects in three ways:

  • First, the communal projects which are divided into: cattle, reforestation, fish farming, and solidarity tourism. These projects are managed by the coop and benefit everyone in the community.
  • Second, we have the semi collective projects constituted by a small group of participants (usually between 3-15 people). These groups have decided upon specific initiatives of production. The coop presents the initiatives with an initial investment and also facilitates the space and resources necessary for the group to develop their activity. In this way the coop is always a beneficiary of a percentage of the profits earned from the projects.
  • Third, the coop allows for the each member to maintain a parcel of land for their personal use. This land is generally used to grow corn.
